More Ways to Give
Donor-Advised Funds
Many DBCHS supporters make gift recommendations through their donor-advised fund accounts. If you already have one or want to establish one, here's an info sheet to get you started. You can also name DBCHS as the beneficiary of the remainder of your account! For more information, contact Kari at karikuh@dbchs.org.
Electronic Funds Transfer
Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) makes giving easy and convenient. When you authorize EFT, DBCHS deducts a stated amount ($10 minimum) from your bank account on the 10th of each month. Even a small monthly gift can have a big annual impact. To sign up, complete this form and email it to karikuh@dbchs.org. Call with questions at (859) 238-1117.
Giving Through Your IRA
The IRA charitable rollover allows donors to use all or part of their required minimum distribution (up to $100,000 per person per year) to make gifts to DBCHS. Donors must take their required minimum distribution at age 72, but talk to us about making a gift before that age. These forms will help you initiate the process with your advisor.
Planned Giving
We assist donors in creating tax-friendly and creative ways to give, some of which are currently free! In addition to creating a stable future for DBCHS, these gifts establish a legacy for you. Contact Kari at (859) 238-1117 or karikuh@dbchs.org for more information.
Stock Gifts
An outright gift of stock benefits both you and the humane society. With your written permission, your broker can transfer a stated number of shares electronically to DBCHS’s account at Farmers National Bank. Wire Transfer Gifts
A wire transfer is a quick way to move money electronically from your bank account directly to DBCHS. Details and further instructions are available on our Incoming Wire Transfer Instructions sheet.
