If you need help covering pet care costs, DBCHS may be able to assist with a grant of up to $500
Who Can Apply?
To qualify, you must:

Provide proof of Boyle County residence

Show proof of Care Credit denial
What We Can Help With:

Vet exam/consultation fees
-
Vaccinations
-
Spay/neuter procedures
-
Critical or emergency medical care
-
Emergency short-term boarding
-
Pet deposits (to keep pets in housing)
-
End-of-life care
What We Can't Fund:
-
Services already completed before approval
-
Ongoing conditions (e.g., diabetes, Addison’s, heart disease)
-
Conditions with poor prognosis (e.g., kidney failure)

If approved, DBCHS will pay the provider or vendor directly.
