I FOUND KITTENS!
When you discover kittens outdoors, it can be tempting to scoop them up and bring them indoors.
However, it is important to know that this is almost never in a kitten’s best interest.

What if kittens DO need help?
If you have waited for hours and a young kitten’s mother never returns, you will have to intervene and provide care in her stead. You should also step in if the kittens or their mother look sick or injured and are clearly not thriving.
Visit Alley Cat Allies' Neonatal Kitten Care Guide for more information on how to foster kittens and call DBCHS if you need help with supplies.
